2010 Scholarship Forms

The Greater North County Chamber Commerce and our Partners in Education committee are now accepting applications for our annual scholarship program. This year we will be awarding five $1,000 scholarships.

Applications are available at the chamber office or HERE [PDF]. Please encourage students seeking a degree in a business related field to apply. Applications are due by Friday, February 26, 2010 to the chamber office.

The scholarship is open to all graduating seniors who reside in the Greater North County Chamber of Commerce service area. This area includes Florissant, Hazelwood, Black Jack, Spanish Lake and North St. Louis County. Scholarships may be used for post-high school continuing education expenses. This includes college or university tuition, room and board, books, fees, or for expenses associated with a trade or technical school program.

These scholarships were set up by donations from local residents, chamber members and a fall bowling tournament. All donations and proceeds from the bowling tournament go directly into the scholarship fund. The students who are selected to receive the scholarship will be recognized at the Greater North County Chamber of Commerce monthly luncheon meeting on Wednesday, March 17, 2010.
